Tracy-Locke is looking for a Media Director to join our team!

 

The Media Director will be the team lead, responsible for maintaining excellence in planning, implementation and optimization of key CPG accounts working with retailers’ ecosystems. The Media Director will develop and maintain a strong knowledge of client business and apply their media understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients’ needs/objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the development, presentation, implementation of holistic media strategies on a key, fast paced piece of business.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and innovation for enhanced media plans and results across all media touch points.
  • Offers guidance, support, and proactive solutions to the team in regard to problems which arise in the media planning and buying process.
  • Act as a key media visionary and client lead.
  • Showcase ability to leverage research, segmentation information and data to uncover strong consumer insights to properly inform media strategy.
  • Understand and lead process of preparing, evaluating, and implementing media plans, as well as overseeing setup, execution, and reporting.
  • Confidently present and sell in media recommendations to clients.
  • Achieves/maintains visibility and credibility within the agency and client base and with media vendors.
  • Maintains collaborative and professional interpersonal relationships across all levels of the organization as well as across agencies.
  • Involved in new business and integration of new clients into the media department, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in media planning through relevant work experience, typically 7+ years, with emphasis on digital and shopper media.
  • 3+ years of previous management experience preferred.
  • Experience planning and executing eCommerce media with emphasis on Walmart, Target, and Amazon. Familiarity with shopper platforms like Ibotta, Quotient, Inmar is a plus.
  • Digital emphasis on shopper marketing, display, social media, influencer marketing, and video.
  • Background in CPG.
  • Experience with Amazon (Search and Display), as well as omni-channel Retail Media platforms, including, Kroger, Walmart, Target is a must.
  • Firm understanding of Communication strategy, media Planning/Buying, negotiation, and performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in measurement, research, and planning tools (MRI, Simmons, etc).
  • Demonstrate curiosity for the omnichannel/digital landscape and constantly evolving ecosystem, including trends and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interacts on a daily basis with Media Vendors, internal Account/Creative Leadership teams, Finance (internal and/or client), and Corporate Media.
  • Solution-oriented.
  • Availability to travel if needed.
