    TracyLocke is currently looking for an experienced Broadcast Business Manager in our Wilton, CT & NYC offices.  Our Broadcast Business Manager will have at least 5 - 8 years’ experience as a broadcast business manager in an advertising agency setting.  This person will be extremely knowledgeable in talent matters as well as production policies and guidelines (contracts, insurance, etc.).  This is NOT a junior position, you must have experience in Broadcast.  


    Broadcast Business Managers are experienced talent managers and production managers with 5+ years' experience at an advertising agency:


    Talent Management:

    • Thorough knowledge of all talent areas including SAG-AFTRA contracts and non-union standards.
    • Responsible for all talent estimation, budgeting and payment tracking.
    • Ensure all commercials are properly submitted to the payroll companies, and union requirements are met.
    • Manage all negotiations and extensions of non-union commercials.
    • Maintain clear communications among all agency personnel regarding matter
    • Review scripts for talent implications on all productions.

     Production Management:

    • Budget management, including estimating, cost monitoring, recapping, purchase orders, invoice approval, insurance, and vendor requirements such as set ups and resolving billing issues
    • Experience negotiating, licensing, and contracting, including celebrity contracts, music synchronization and master recording agreements, and other copyrighted properties.
