    We are looking for a Freelance Copywriter to work in our LA Office.

    Responsibilities

    The Freelance Copywriter position is responsible for understanding the client and the competitive digital landscape. They are responsible for building the social  (FB, IG and beyond) and content calendars as well as live event conception to activation as well.

     

    They must be able to think strategically but also be able to roll up their sleeves and get into the nitty gritty. 

     

    This position must have strong leadership and communication skills.  You will need the ability and experience to handle a broad range of work.  You will need to have solid experience creating materials for clients, as well as the ability to put together and present great decks to clients.  

     

    Finally, you NEED to actually WRITE - that is, be able to write compelling and grammatically clean short-form social copy, as well as long-form website copy, effective headlines, taglines, and call to action.  You must be comfortable writing in multiple styles, tones of voices, and for multiple formats including all social media channels.

    Qualifications

    Looking for candidates that fit in a high energy, fast paced and highly collaborative agency setting.

    • Copywriters generally have a 4 year degree (or have completed the copywriting track in a portfolio school)
    • Must have 2-3 years of experience in an advertising/marketing agency with knowledge of digital and social media best practices
    • Must be well-versed in social media platforms beyond FaceBook and Instagram (TikTok, Twitch, YouTube). A social media user yourself and up to date on emerging platforms and technologies
    • A love for sports is a MUST!
    • Creative candidates MUST include a link to their portfolio on their resume to be considered, don't forget to include the password if needed.
