    Responsibilities

    We seek a Strategic Planning Director of Food Service for our Wilton office!

     

    Key responsibilities include:

    Being an expert in turning data into action

    • Understanding how to dig into data to identify how to reach and engage with the target, working with vendor partners to gather and provide potential results

     

    Master of research – Retail and Industry

    • Understanding both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and how it would work for the shopper / Food Service retailer. Understanding and defining retail auditing process and works with teams on both proactive and reactive projects

     

    Creative Partner, guiding tactical execution

    • Providing tactical input and consults on how to bring ideas to life for the shopper and retailer

     

    Expert in mapping a consumer journey, determining most influential points of decisions

    • Leveraging research /data  to design the consumers’ experience

     

    Understanding the basic measurement approaches, metrics and how to design a results scorecard

    • Working knowledge of most important KPIs to deliver on program objectives
    • Working with vendor partners to get estimated and actual program results

     

    Pro-actively finds and presents the latest news and trends in retail/channel/media

    Qualifications

    • BA in Marketing, Advertising, a behavioral science field or retail-oriented marketing such as category / trade management
    • 7-10 years of activation experience within the disciplines of shopper, brand or sales strategy within an agency setting
    • 5+ years of shopper and customer/trade marketing experience, has a thorough retail (Food Service) and shopper marketing industry understanding
    • Intimately familiar with digital and its role in consumers’ and retailers’ worlds
    • Experience with database tools and systems such as Simmons, MRI, Kantar, or equivalent
    • Strong attention to detail and organization
