    We seek a Kellogg's Drug Channel Shopper Marketing Manager / Agency Account Supervisor. This hybrid role will split time at the agency (Chicago) and client at their Battle Creek (Michigan) office location.

    Responsibilities

    Kellogg's Shopper Marketing Manager Roles and Responsibilites:

    • Develop, sell-in and implement insight-driven shopper marketing strategies and platforms that drive volume and profit and a point of difference for Kellogg's and customer
    • Lead collaboration internally at Kellogg's and externally with customer to develop unique shopper solutions that leverage existing and evolving customer strategies and shopper behaviors
    • Execute superior shopper marketing program initiatives against key Kellogg's initiatives
    • Optimize shopper marketing promotional vehicles that meet account- and event-specific requirements
    • Leverage strong shopper and retailer understanding to develop new, out-of-box activation that aligns with Kellogg's category strategy
    • Drive category strategic direction and alignment with cross-functional partners through the application of trends, insights and channel, competitive and industry knowledge
    • Create and manifest ongoing working relationships with Marketing Department, Category Managers, Merchandising Departments, Channel Store Operations Teams, strategic partners/vendors, et al.
    • Drive integration and alignment with customer sales/category/brand plans and strategies
    • Lead marketing efforts for commercial/JBP planning meetings to ensure timely delivery of strategies/plans and infusion with annual planning process
    • Conduct pre-program ROI analysis for all shopper marketing programming
    • Lead Post-Program Analysis for shopper marketing programs, identifying successes and opportunities to maximize future program results
    • Partner with shopper marketing agency to inspire innovative ideas and plans that are customized for each retailer
    • Lead shopper marketing agency efforts to execute plans with excellence

    Agency Account Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Writes effective and actionable briefs ensuring creative has all necessary and relevant data to work on the project
    • Provides strategic input to the creative process, giving sound information and respectful feedback
    • Supports the creative process through effective communication with creative counterparts
    • Has a thorough understanding of creative needs and time concerns
    • Attends and contributes as a thought leader in brainstorm sessions
    • Sets out objectives for moving the client’s business/product
    • Recommends tactics to achieve those objectives
    • Has high-level fiscal accountability
    • Grows agency revenue
    • Oversees project/business financials
    • Maintains Haygarth and client fiscal procedures and requirements
    • Owns client stewardship reports and provides analysis
    • Maintains business guidelines (retained vs. non-retained, client set up and structure)
    • Holds staff accountable for working within agency and client fiscal guidelines
    • Develops awareness of business forecasting and building retainer fees and negotiations
    • Shares knowledge of client industry, trends, standards and competitive landscapes
    • Instructs staff on financial tools and resources to build business and agency revenue

    Qualifications

    Must be able to split time between Kelloggs Battle Creek, Michigan office and Agency Chicago office.  

    Agency experience is a MUST

    5-7 years of marketing experience within CPG industry 

    Drug Channel experience is beneficial
