Responsibilities

We seek an experienced UX Architect + Designer for our Dallas office on the Audi business.

 

This position will be responsible for the ideation and creation of the overall user experience— working collaboratively with the team to create visual language and product interfaces. They should be able to clearly and insightfully design and describe the shopper journey, and the way shoppers will interact with various devices.

The role requires someone with a passion for visual design and an expertise in UI/UX architecture—building intuitive and functional interfaces that enhance retail experiences.

 

Qualifications

Senior-level UX architect and designer (5+ years) with a proven design process:

  • Enjoys gathering anecdotes and artifacts from customers, collecting behavioral patterns, developing wireframes and prototypes and testing them with customers.
  • Believes in shopper-first approach. 
  • Is able to work at a functional wireframe level, as well as delivering production-ready UI components that are ready for implementation.
  • Ideal candidate would also bring practical experience doing UX for interactive digital signage and be able to lead our team on best practices in this area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform requirements gathering, interaction and information design, and associated documentation
  • Produce deliverables in every phase of the UX design lifecycle (user research, requirements, personas, user flows, site maps, wires, et al.)
  • Understand and follow through with the processes of stakeholder management and facilitation
  • Experience presenting work internally and to the client
  • Candidate would likely be skilled in these programs: Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Axure, After Effects, etc.
  • Bonus if able to code a bit— enough to whip up a live demo or help judge realistic timelines.
  • Double bonus if experienced in the following categories:
    • Automotive: Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 levels
    • Luxury brands or products that constitute a considered purchase (Ex. homes, resorts or high-end retail)
